IMC has developed a variety of data capture and CFR 21/Part 11-compatible certification solutions for use in RFID sensor solutions, RFID transponder manufacturing and quality assurance:

The Med-ic CertiScan 13.56 MHz RF Reader and CertiScan Compliance Monitoring Software retrieve and display patient compliance information from eCAP medication bottles and Med-ic intelligent pharmaceutical blisters, using the latest in RFID technology.

Log-ic ECM data can be downloaded via the wireless desktop or handheld Log-ic CertiScan 13.56 MHz RFID Reader to ensure that proper temperature was maintained during the entire chain of a shipment. The Log-ic ECM tag does not need to be removed from the shipping box. It can be scanned through the wall of cold-pack materials, except foil-lined or metalized containers.

The CertiScan Web module allows distributed data to be accessed from a central server, with instant data analysis, and up-to-the-second accurate information regarding location, content state, and other status information of an ECM (Electronic Content Monitor) tagged shipment or product.

Electronic Compliance Monitoring Software and 13.56 MHz RF Reader
CertiScan compliance data can be displayed on screen or exported to other software applications
Using an onboard CPU embedded in a blister package, Med-ic ECM tags record the time a tablet or capsule is expelled from a blister-packaged wallet of medication, keeping a record for later analysis. At the time of refilling or follow up visit, the information is downloaded with the CertiScan 13.56 MHz RF wireless desktop reader for display on the researcher's computer. Med-ic CertiScan accurately displays the dosing data with an intuititive and easy to read graphic user interface with point and click "drill down" capabilities ranging from daily to annual "at a glance" views of patient compliance data

Secure Data and 21 CFR Part 11 Controls
Sophisticated electronics are contained inside every Med-ic ECM carded blister package
Med-ic CertiScan Software uses a secure proprietary trial data file to record, store, display and retrieve electronic records of compliance data. The software extends electronic record compliance with 21 CFR Part 11 directly to the patient source.

By skipping the double entry phase of compliance data input CertiScan virtually eliminates data entry costs, offering researchers the most reliable and valid records of patient adherence to a study regimen.
